Bonjour, Anne!
I'm so happy to hEAR you'll be dining at
Be Our Guest Restaurant in October! The Beast's castle is one of my favorite dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort. You'll feel as though you've stepped right into the classic Disney animated film, Beauty and the Beast!
The elegant restaurant, located in
Magic Kingdom Park, has three distinct dining areas - The Grand Ballroom, The Castle Gallery, and The West Wing. The Grand Ballroom features a gorgeous crystal chandelier, a painted mural of cherub angels on the ceiling, and you can see an evening's snowfall outside the windows. In the Castle Gallery, a larger-than-life music box with figures of Belle and Beast is the centerpiece of the room, and the walls are adorned with beautiful paintings and tapestries that tell the story of their romance.
The West Wing is a bit darker and more brooding than the other two dining areas. A storm is brewing outside, and the enchanted rose takes center stage as Guests try and catch a glimpse of a falling petal. When lightning strikes, keep your eyes on the handsome portrait of Prince Adam on the wall - you just might see it change!
If your daughter has her heart set on dining in the West Wing, you can request to be seated there when you check in for your reservation. My suggestion would be to arrive around fifteen minutes early to speak to a Cast Member and make your request. While there are no guarantees they can fulfill your seating request, I'm sure they will do their best to make it happen! No matter where you're seated, you can ask your server if it's ok for you to take a peek into the other areas to see the entire castle.
Now, I invite you to relax, pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents...your dinner!
