Hi, Richard! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Food is delicious. Food at Walt Disney World Resort is even MORE delicious! I just LOVE talking Disney Restaurants so you have come to the right place, my friend! Based on your question, I am assuming that you are on the
Disney Dining Plan. I will also assume that you are on the standard plan, and not the Quick Service or Deluxe Plan, pardon me if I am incorrect! When on the Standard Disney Dining Plan, each Table Service meal is entitled to: 1 Entrée, 1 Dessert, 1 Non-alcoholic Beverage (or Alcoholic Beverage, for Guests 21 and older—2018 plan only) OR 1 Full Buffet or Family-Style Meal. When taking a peek at the
Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant dinner menu, I can see where you may face confusion. There are certain appetizers or “shareable” appetizers on the menu. These would not be included in your Disney Dining Plan (subject to change), but you could definitely purchase it separately. What would count as your Entrée would be anything that is one serving for example: the Noodles & Bowls, Items in the “Wok”, “grilled” or “specialties” list. If you then wanted to add a side, that too would be extra. I have found servers at Disney Restaurants to be very helpful in explaining what items are including on the Disney Dining Plan. Another thing to remember, is that gratuities are not included at most Disney Restaurants, so you will want to budget for those as well.
I hope my answer has been useful in your planning and that you enjoy some fabulous meals! Bon appetit,
Jen
