Hi there, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney!
I have a feeling that someone will have an unforgettable experience dining with the Disney princesses soon.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a fantastic (and time-efficient) way to meet several leading ladies at once while enjoying a wide variety of breakfast dishes. I am more than happy to help you figure out how you can make it there on time.
First things first, arrive to one of the two EPCOT entrances as early as possible. At least 30 minutes before your reservation should be plenty of time. Before you enter the theme park, you have to go through security. You’ll be happy to know that there is a separate queue for those with wheelchairs and strollers. Then, once you get near the main entrance, be ready to present your advanced dining reservation’s confirmation by pulling it up on the
My Disney Experience App. I’ve spoken to a couple of my planDisney friends who are early risers, and I can confirm that there is a specific queue for Guests with advanced dining reservations. You’re all good! Just be on the lookout for a sign that will show you the way. Worst case scenario, ask a friendly Cast Member to point you in the right direction.
Also, there’s usually a bit of a grace period with advance dining reservations if you’re a few minutes late. I’ve arrived five minutes late once (or twice) and my family has been accommodated.
AN EXTRA GEM: Early morning in-park dining reservations are so neat because there will be a fraction of other Guests walking through EPCOT with you. You’ll get to see the Norway Pavilion at its very best. By the way, don’t miss the baked goods at
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe across from the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. I’m a local, and sometimes I’ll drive to EPCOT just to try the bakery’s School Bread, a custard-filled and coconut-topped treat.
Jennifer, if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
