Greetings, David!
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question about dining at the
Disneyland Resort. Will this be your first visit to The Happiest Place on Earth? If so, you’re in for a pixie-dusted treat!
Guests can begin booking tables at restaurants that accept advance
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of the date they plan to dine. Disneyland Resort dining reservations cannot be made for a complete length of stay. So, if you’re planning a multi-day vacation, you will need to book your table-service meals one day at a time if you wish to secure reservations right at the 60-day mark for each day of the trip. However, you can review the calendar date range for up to 10 consecutive days to see the dining reservation availability at a given restaurant for your whole visit so that you’ll be ready to make your plans when your 60-day window opens.
I’ve noticed that most table-service reservations become available online at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time. When your first booking day arrives, plan to sign into your MyDisney account on
disneyland.com or in the Disneyland mobile app a few minutes early. Be ready to search for the most popular dining locations on your wishlist first, such as Blue Bayou Restaurant (my personal favorite table-service restaurant in
Disneyland Park).
If you’re not able to book a restaurant that is on your must-do list right away, don’t give up. Availability can and does fluctuate, so feel free to keep checking as your trip approaches. There's also the possibility of joining the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability list via the
Disneyland mobile app at select restaurants!
I hope this helps answer your question, David. Please feel free to
write back for more planning advice as your vacation approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
