I have dining reservations with the dining plan. How strictly do they adhere to times?

    Hi Robin!

Making sure you have dining reservations for your Walt Disney World vacation is important as many of the locations will fill up and be unavailable to walk up diners.

Selecting which of the many great Disney Restaurants to reserve is the hard part as there are so many to choose from. In general you can check-in about 15 minutes before your reservation time. This will get you on the list to be seated at the next available table. Most locations will not let you check-in any earlier then 15 minutes.

Restaurants will also hold a reservation for about 15 minutes past your time. They understand when things happen such as monorail breakdowns or ride stoppages while you are on them. If something happens please continue to head to the restaurant and let them know what has happened. They will work with you to see if they can still seat you but keep in mind to always try to be within that 15 minute grace period. The more popular locations will be quite strict with the policy as they have full reservations and must be fair to all the guests who wish to dine there.
