I can make dining reservations 60 days prior to arrival. If I stay for three days, can I make reservations for all three days on the 60th day or do I have to do it each 60 days in advance for each of my 3 days?

Hey there, Jimmy. I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney with your question. Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to talk about!

Jimmy, I think you'll be happy to know that you will be able to make advanced dining reservations for your entire vacation 60 days prior to your trip. The rule is you can make reservations 60 days prior for the length of your stay up to 10 days. So, since you are staying 3 days you will have no problems getting reservations all in one swoop. Dining reservations open up online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time and over the phone starting at 7:00 a.m. The phone number to make dining reservations is 407-WDW-DINE. I recommend setting your alarm and getting up as early as possible because reservations, especially for the best places, do tend to fill up quickly.

If you are looking for a recommendation, I have one for you! Right now, my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World is The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. I cannot get enough of that place right now. It's so good that I've actually planned a whole weekend trip just because I was able to snag a reservation. The restaurant is set right on the lake in Disney Springs and has the most picture-perfect views of the sunset. Then, it's so much fun to watch Disney Springs come alive after the sun goes down with all of the lights that illuminate the night down there. The menu really does have something for everyone although they specialize in seafood and steaks. Right now, my current go-to order is lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. I actually just ate there the other day and just writing about this place to you makes me hungry for it all over again.

If you are looking to do some character dining while at Walt Disney World, one of my favorite spots to hang out with Mickey and the gang right now is Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. This restaurant is located at the top of Disney's Riviera Resort and is a character meal for breakfast. This meal is actually all-you-care-to-enjoy even though you order an entree off of a menu. I absolutely love their breakfast quiche but have to get an order of Mickey and Minnie Waffles while I'm there and that's so problem at all!

I hope this helps, Jimmy. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me. I'm here to help. Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
