Hey there, Connie! Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by for help with dining on your upcoming Disney trip.
The message you received can definitely be a little confusing, but no worries! We'll make sure you're all set for your dining experiences.
Some
theme park tickets require a
theme park reservation. If you have a date-based ticket, a theme park reservation isn't required, just as you've stated. The message you received is just a reminder for guests who don't have the date-based ticket. This reminder will pop up when booking in-park dining, even though it doesn’t actually apply to your ticket type anymore.
As long as your tickets are date-based and linked in your
My Disney Experience app, you’re completely fine, and no extra reservations are needed. The message is just a standard notice for guests with other types of tickets, such as
annual passes or
special event tickets, that may still require park reservations.
You’ll just need a valid admission for the park where your
dining reservation is located, and you’ll be good to go. When you arrive for your meal, Cast Members will scan your ticket or
MagicBand like usual.
So no worries at all. You did everything right! So, keep those dining plans, and start counting down to your delicious Disney meals.
Have a wonderful time, Connie!
Toodles,
Korliss
