Hi. For dining reservations, are same day modifications allowed without incurring a fee? I booked for a party of 11, but may need to modify the # of guests in our party to 7 ppl if the rest of our party has a flight delay.

    Hi Nicole!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about Advance Dining Reservations.

I'm happy to hear you've planned ahead and made dining reservations for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There are over 300 amazing dining venues on Walt Disney World property, including Table Service, Quick Service, Snack Carts, and more. You'll never have to search long or far to find a delicious meal or a yummy treat when you're in the most magical place on earth!

If the number of guests in your dining party changes due to a flight delay, you should have no problem modifying your reservation on the same day. A complete cancellation would incur a fee at some locations, but reducing the number of guests by only a few should be fine. It's typically more difficult to add guests to a reservation at the last minute than it is to remove guests. Please make sure to modify your reservation as soon as you're certain who will be dining, so that they can prepare a table for the correct amount of guests.

I hope this helps with your planning! Have a magical day, Nicole! - Diane W.
