    I have dining reservations for Cinderellas Table at 9:30am. I was wondering if you think I would have time to stop at the barber shop and have my daughters hair done beforehand. If so, does the barber shop take reservations? What is the cost for a bun?

    Hi Audrey!  How fun to get a sparkly Cinderella "do" before breakfast with the Princess herself!

    It has always been a tradition for our boys to have their hair cut at The Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom.  They are so entertaining there, and make the experience of a hair cut much more enjoyable.

    If the park opens at 8:00 a.m. on the day you are planning to go, then you may have time to get this all completed and make it to your reservation time.  However, if there is a long line, you should take that in to account and realize that it does take a little while to do a hair cut.  One morning we were there and there were only two children ahead of my own.  However, it took 20 minutes or more to complete each child's hair styling, and if it were girls having the "glam do's" pulled together, it sometimes took longer.  So, be prepared to move along without the hairdo if the line looks too long.

     I have heard they have begun taking appointments now, so you may want to try that.

    If the park does not open until 9:00 a.m. that day, then I would not advise trying to get their hair done, before going.  I know she will be as beautiful as a princes no matter what!

    The cost is subject to change, but last I checked for a bun and colored hair gel with pixie dust it cost less than $10.
