Hey there, Joseph. Welcome to
planDisney.
Joseph, you are able to make advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your Walt Disney World vacation. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you are able to make those reservations for the length of your stay - up to 10 days. When you make dining reservations, you will be required to place a credit card on file. For most restaurants at Walt Disney World, you are able to
cancel your dining reservation up until 11:59 p.m. the day before with no penalty. If you cancel the day of or are a no-show, there will be a $10 per person charge to the credit card that you put on file. So it's best to plan out your itinerary ahead of time, that way you can avoid any cancelation fees. However, you can see each restaurant's exact cancelation policy on the restaurant's specific webpage on the Walt Disney World website. You are able to cancel your dining reservation online via your MyDisneyExperience account. You can also call by speaking with a Cast Member at 407-WDW-DINE.
If you don't want to be too committed to sit-down restaurants while at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, the quick-service options are an excellent choice. The food quality from the quick-service dining locations is incredible and there is always quite a variety to choose from.
