I have dining reservations for California Grill for 5:25 pm. Is that considered “evening”? Will we be able to return to view the fireworks by showing my receipt?

Hi there, Brenda, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you're here with this great question about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It sounds like you're planning to enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at California Grill - you must be getting so excited!

Brenda, with a dinner reservation at California Grill, you should be able to dine, leave, and return to view the nighttime fireworks as long as you keep your receipt to show the Cast Member. You'll love how the view will change between your dinnertime and when the fireworks begin - it will be like two totally different experiences!

Watching the Happily Ever After Fireworks Show from California Grill with my fellow Panelists is one of my top Disney memories. Another amazing viewing option is a Fireworks Cruise, where you'll board a private boat and watch from the water. This is available for Magic Kingdom fireworks as well as at EPCOT. You might also love a Fireworks Dessert Party, where you'll delight in tasty treats and adult beverages as you watch from a secluded area. For an altogether different perspective, head to the back of Cinderella Castle near the Carousel, where you'll have more room to spread out. This is my daughter's favorite place to watch Happily Ever After because she has space to dance to the music!

Brenda, no matter how you view fireworks, you're sure to have a blast. It's the best way to end your day! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    Happily,
    Jennifer
