Hi there, Debra!
From one Floridian to another, welcome to planDisney. You’ve definitely come to the right place to get information about how to make advance dining reservations at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Eating at my Happy Place, Walt Disney World Resort, is one of my favorite pastimes. From slurping ‘Ohana Noodles at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to chowing down on a barbecue platter at Roundup Rodeo BBQ at
Toy Story Land, there are so many good eats around property that you’ll need a dining reservation for.
There are a few ways that you can make an advance dining reservation:
-Log in to your MyDisney account on the desktop Walt Disney World Resort website. Under your Plans and Tickets, select “Dining” and then “Make a Reservation.”
-Log in to the
My Disney Experience App, select the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner, and select “Reserve Dining.”
-Talk to a friendly Cast Member on the phone. You can make or cancel a reservation by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
You can also use the search features online and in the app to find a restaurant that you like. From there, you can check out its availability and book a reservation. If a reservation is not available, keep trying. Spots open up all the time—even up to the day of.
If you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can begin making advance dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date. At this same time, you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation. Staying somewhere else? You can still make reservations 60 days ahead of time, but only for one day at a time. You can find a great breakdown of exactly when you can begin making advance dining reservations on this
Help Center webpage.
AN EXTRA GEM: In addition to advance dining reservations, you can use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering while on property. Instead of waiting in a queue at a Quick Service restaurant, you can order ahead of time in the My Disney Experience App. For example, I absolutely love the Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade from
Casey’s Corner at Magic Kingdom Park. As I’m hopping off of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or finishing up shopping at the
Critter Co-Op, I open the app, complete my order, and head over to pick up my treat. When I get there, I simply select “I’m Here, Prepare My Order.” This is an easy way to get what you want even faster.
Debra, I hope that this helps. Just
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have additional questions. We can talk your Mickey ears off about our dining tips and tricks at Disney Destinations. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
