Welcome to planDisney, Jeanne! Thanks so much for visiting us today to chat about my favorite topic:
food at Walt Disney World Resort. Securing dining reservations is my favorite part of planning my vacation, and I'm happy to walk you through exactly how to do it.
First things first, dining reservations for Table Service restaurants open up 60 days in advance. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you will be able to book dining reservations beginning at 5:45 a.m. Eastern Time 60 days before your check-in date for the length of your vacation, up to 10 days. If you are staying somewhere off Disney property, you can still make reservations 60 days in advance, but one day at a time.
To make reservations, you can either use your
My Disney Experience mobile app or the
My Disney Experience website. From the app, tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen and select "Check Dining Availability." Adjust your party size, select the date you want to dine, and a list of restaurants with available reservations will populate for you. Tap on the reservation you want and fill in your contact information to complete the booking. You can also make a reservation from your account page on the My Disney Experience website by hovering over the "Dining" icon, selecting "Make a Reservation", and following the same instructions above. Finally, you can navigate to a restaurant's individual page and click "Check Availability" to make a reservation for that specific location.
If there are specific restaurants that you really want to try on your upcoming vacation, I heartily recommend that you start making reservations as soon as your window opens at 5:45 a.m. Eastern Time. Some very popular restaurants, like
Cinderella's Royal Table,
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, and
Be Our Guest Restaurant can book up very quickly, so the earlier you can try to secure them, the better!
Have a magical day, Jeanne!
