Hiya Christy,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your delicious question! I absolutely love that you’re hoping to dine at Sanaa—it’s such a hidden gem tucked inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. Between the warm spices, the gorgeous views of the savanna, and the chance to see giraffes and zebras strolling by while you dine, it’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience!
Now, let’s jump right into your question. Sanaa does accept dining reservations for dinner, but reservations here tend to book up quickly since Guests can begin making
Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days prior to arrival. If you aren’t currently seeing any openings in the
My Disney Experience app, don’t lose hope! I highly recommend checking back frequently, especially as Thanksgiving gets closer—plans change, and Guests often modify or cancel their reservations. I’ve had great luck finding last-minute openings just a week or two before my visit.
Just note that, for Thanksgiving Day,
Sanaa will offer a special, modified holiday menu. The regular lunch menu will not be available on Thanksgiving Day. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and holiday-inspired dishes (along with select dinner favorites) will be offered from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
If you’re not able to snag a table at Sanaa, don’t worry—there are a few other incredible options nearby!
Boma – Flavors of Africa offers a lively buffet filled with bold flavors, and
Jiko – The Cooking Place (one of my personal favorites at Disney World) serves a beautiful blend of African, Indian, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes in an elegant setting.
Christy, I hope this helps you plan your wild and wonderful Thanksgiving feast! Sending a little extra pixie dust your way, that a Sanaa reservation opens up soon. If you have any other questions, please visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
