Can we make a dining reservation for Steakhouse 71 and only order dessert or do you have to order a meal?

    Hiya Jennifer!

Welcome back again to planDisney! We love seeing you here and helping you plan your magical vacation!

I'm glad you are interested in checking out Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort! It's one of my favorite "new" restaurants on Walt Disney World Property and my family has had a chance to enjoy it a few times. While we did eat full meals here we always made sure to leave after enjoying dessert. Steakhouse 71 is known for its Steakhouse 71 Chocolate Cake! It does contain alcohol but so deliciously decadent! You are allowed to just order dessert or anything else like when enjoying your dining reservation. So don't worry and eat your dessert as if it were your unbirthday! If you are interested in something savory, I highly recommend the Bacon & Eggs dish which has what is considered the "Perfect Egg" and it truly is an experience you should consider enjoying.

I hope this helps and you have a delicious time!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
