I want to make a dining reservation for my son and daughter in law, but I want to make a different reservation for myself, husband and granddaughter at the same time. How do I do that? My name keeps coming up and I can’t delete it or replace it. Sandi

    Welcome to planDisney, Sandi!

I am so happy that you brought your question to us! I actually just did something very similar with my party for an upcoming trip. I needed to make two dining reservations at the same time with different groups — so I’m happy to help you through this process. (Consider making one of your dining reservations at Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studios — this is one of my family’s favorites right now!)

Because you, your husband, and granddaughter have a dining reservation at the same time as the reservation you are wanting to make for your son and daughter-in-law, you will need to have your son or daughter-in-law make that reservation on their own accounts. You can log in to one of their accounts to do it for them, but one of their My Disney Experience Accounts must be linked to their dining reservation as you cannot hold two reservations at the same time.

You may also consider making a reservation at Boma, Sandi! I love this restaurant at Animal Kingdom Lodge! It always has something delicious for everyone, and accommodates large groups really well.

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
