Is the dining reservation policy for DL (60 days in advance) really adequate to ensure we won't miss out on any dining experiences (A's Grotto, G's Kitchen, Napa Rose etc.)? Planning our 1st trip to DL and we're used to WDW's 180 day policy.

Hi there Jean and thanks so much for the question!  I consider myself a "Disney Foodie" and it is a "must" that I visit all of the dining hot spots on each and every Disneyland vacation.

Dining reservations at Disneyland are not as hot of a commodity as they are at Disney World mostly due to the smaller size if the resort, thus the 60-day reservation window.  While I definitely recommend making priority seating arrangements at that 60-day mark, I have actually had great success in securing reservations to desired restaurants days before...even day of, on occasion.

I have ALWAYS been able to snag every reservation I have requested at my 60-day mark, so no worries!  I know it's hard to wait that long...especially for planners like myself who are so used to that 180-day crunch ritual when making Walt Disney World ADRs.

Also, did you know that you can now make Disneyland Dining reservations vis email?  I just did this for the first time a few weeks ago and it was SO easy and convenient.  Simply send an email to Dine@disneyland.com and be sure to include your name, desired restaurant, desired time, date, and the number in your party.  You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours!  Easy Peasy without having to pick up the phone!

Please keep the questions coming if I can be of further assistance in the planning of this pixie dusted adventure!
