I have a dining reservation at 6:15pm on a MNSSHP night, but that is not the night we have tickets to MNSSHP. Will I be able to keep my dining reservation or will Disney cancel them?

    Hiya Yvonne,

Welcome back to planDisney! It means so much that you come back to visit us with your planning questions. I will be your host, your non-ghostly host, for this question today.

I’m so excited that you have added Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to your itinerary this spooky season. You will have a blast watching the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and enjoying all the delicious treats. Now, let’s talk about your dining reservation on the day you do not currently have a reservation for.

You ask an excellent question, Yvonne. Magic Kingdom Park closes to non-party Guests at 6 pm ET, after which the park will be exclusive to those Guests with tickets for the event. I spoke to a Cast Member, and while Walt Disney World Resort will not cancel your reservation, once the park closes to non-party Guests, you will not be able to access Magic Kingdom Park for dining. They recommend checking for an earlier dining reservation before 6:00 pm to be safe.

Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.

When we are not piloting the Millennium Falcon, exploring Kilimanjaro Safaris, or watching fireworks, you can find me planning our next adventure to Walt Disney World! I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
