Welcome, (not so) Foolish Mortal! Tara, first let me congratulate you on getting one of the most elusive treasures at the
Magic Kingdom. The opening of
The Beak and Barrel has had seafarers and landlubbers alike charting the course and hoping to snag a reservation at the park's newest jewel.
All treasure is not silver or gold. Sometimes, it is a hard-to-get reservation filled with "yo ho ho!" and eye patches. Shiver me timbers!
I have a couple of gems that should help you feel good about your ability to join the swashbuckling fun. I chatted with a Cast Member who checked the official policy and confirmed Guests can book this restaurant all the way up until the park closes (6:00 p.m.) without needing a ticket to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
In my experience, party-related reservations begin at 7:00 p.m., are labeled as "special," and are accompanied by a pop-up stating that you must have a party ticket to be admitted at that time. You should be good. Savvy?
Although I have not yet had the pleasure of dining with this pirate crew, I have heard that they are adhering to the 45-minute maximum for this experience. You may want to review the
menu ahead of time so you can spend more time taking in the surroundings and experiencing the atmosphere while you're there.
And since your plans have you
beheaded to the party later in the week, the Disney Parks Blog has a
Foodie Guide with
treats to die for!Tara, fall is such a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort. With the party and reservations at The Beak and Barrel, it sounds like you are ready for so many adventures ahead! Ahoy!
