Hi Barbara! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending us another question! My extended family of nine just returned a few days ago from a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. I am happy to help you navigate making dining reservations for your group of 10. There are so many amazing dining choices and it's so exciting that you are planning to Be Our Guest!
The most important thing to note is that you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of the arrival date of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There are two approaches that you can take to making
advanced dining reservations. If you have multiple dining reservations that you would like to make, have your dates and restaurant choices ready and call (407) 939-7529. I was able to call and request help making the reservations due to the size of my travel party. In some cases, the reservations were split into two-three groups for the same dining time or within 15 minutes of each other. As I arrived at the dining locations, I was able to speak with a cast member and request that our travel party be seated together. While I was told that they could not promise our group would be able to sit together, each time we were graciously accommodated. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee if you have multiple reservations for a dining location, but in my experience cast members will do their best.
The second approach to making a dining reservation for a group of 10 would be to visit the
Walt Disney World Website on the morning of your 60-day mark. At the top, tap "Things To Do" and select "Make Reservations" under "Dining." You can select the desired restaurant, date, and size of your party as well as the type of meal you wish to have. The available times, if any, will appear. A couple of weeks after my dining reservations window opened, I decided to add two additional dining reservations for our family of nine. I am happy to say I was successful in making those reservations!
If you are unable to secure a particular dining reservation on your first attempt, please keep trying! Sometimes there is a possibility that availability will open up. If your plans allow for a spontaneous dining opportunity, you could also check for
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability at select table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort! To do this, you will need your mobile device and the
My Disney Experience app. You can check for availability once you are nearby the desired dining location.
There are so many fun and exciting events happening during
The World's Most Magical Celebration to consider as you are planning. Please stop by again if we can help answer any other questions you might have!
Happy Planning!
