It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Wendy!
You and your kids are going to love breakfast at
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I honestly think there's no better way to start the day than with some tropical juice, Mickey waffles, and Pineapple-Coconut Breakfast Bread! Add the chance to meet Lilo, Stitch, and a few of their friends and it's the perfect way to kick off a magical morning.
In my opinion,
Character Dining is one of the best ways to maximize the value you get out of your
Disney Dining Plan. I'm all about getting the most out of those credits, and I think that booking a dinner with something a little bit extra, like the all-you-care-enjoy menu and the Disney Character experience at 'Ohana for breakfast, is a great way to do just that. When you eat at a dining location like this, one that has a buffet, an all-you-care-to-enjoy menu, or is a Character Dining experience, everyone who is named on the reservation must redeem the appropriate amount of Disney Dining Plan Table-Service credits or pay the current price, so you won't be able to only redeem your kids' credits and skip breakfast that morning. You're welcome to eat as little or as much as you want (seriously, that bread is incredible), but you will still need to redeem one Table-Service credit in order to be seated.
There is a lot of flexibility in the Disney Dining Plan, though, if you are a person with a smaller appetite, or you're like me and you want to try absolutely everything. When we're eating at Quick-Service dining locations or Table-Service restaurants that aren't Character Dining experiences or buffets, my husband and I will frequently split entrées so that we can visit as many places as possible and try as much as we can during our vacation.
Have a magical day, Wendy!
