Hi there, Megan! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. I’m so happy to be able to help you today.
Spending the Halloween season at
Walt Disney World sounds like a SPOOKtacular idea, Megan! From adorable seasonal decorations, like the Mickey-shaped pumpkins and adorable Cinderella pumpkin wreaths, to hauntingly delicious snacks like the Monster Mousse, there is surely something to get you into the Halloween spirit. I can’t wait for you to experience it all!
Now, since
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins at 7 p.m., you would need an event ticket to be able to use an
Advanced Dining Reservation at that time. However, guests who will not attend the party can make dining reservations in Magic Kingdom Park up until 6 p.m. I know this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, but there are some fabulous dining locations just a hop, skip and a jump from Magic Kingdom.
For example, you could hop on the Resort Monorail and head over to one of my favorite spots,
‘Ohana, at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The food here is incredible and certainly famous for a reason. Make sure you leave room for the delicious ‘Ohana Bread Pudding. The homemade caramel sauce will knock your socks off! Another great option is
Grand Floridan Cafe, which is also just a short Monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park. Their Buttermilk-fried Chicken is fantastic and a real crowd pleaser!
Megan, I can honestly say that I have never had a meal I didn't love at Walt Disney World, and I say that as one of the pickiest eaters on the planet! So, no matter where you end up dining after your day of fun in Magic Kingdom, I just know you will have a delicious meal!
We have
many foodies here at planDisney, so feel free to stop in again with another question, and we would love to share some of our favorites! So, please stop by with any other questions you may have or if you just want to hear some of our recommendations.
See you real soon!
