Hi Heather, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question, which involves two of my favorite topics:
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and food! A nice, table-service dinner at a restaurant as magical as
Cinderella's Royal Table is the perfect way to end a long day at Magic Kingdom Park. So, let's get into how you can make the most of your adventure.
Funnily enough, my family's introduction to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party happened because we were eating at a quick-service restaurant an hour before the switchover to the separately ticketed event. Hearing the Ghost Host's voice announcing the impending start of the party as we exited
Magic Kingdom Park gave me chills! We returned before the month was over because didn't want to miss out on the festivities, and it's now our family's annual Halloween tradition to visit.
So, the good news, Heather: Yes, as long as you have a valid theme park ticket and
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park and you are already inside the theme park before the Halloween party begins, you will be able to enjoy a table-service meal with an advance dining reservation. Keep in mind that it is very important to be inside the theme park before the party begins. The closer you get to the party time, it's not guaranteed that you'll be able to re-enter the theme park without a party ticket if, say, you left for a midday break.
When you're finished dining amongst royalty, if the party has officially started (usually around 6 p.m.), follow the guidance of the Cast Members and exit the park. You may find that they'll check to see if you have the special wristbands that indicate that you're a party guest.
AN EXTRA GEM: Be sure to make your
advance dining reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table, a wonderful character dining option straight out of a fairy tale, 60 days before the day of your visit. It's a very popular restaurant, so if you don't get a reservation, keep trying (even on the same day of the visit). Also, I'm sure that there will be fewer dinner timeslots available due to Halloween party hours.
I hope that your family has a spooktacular time visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth this year. If you have any further questions, Heather, please don't hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
