Can I make a dining reservation at a hotel if I am not staying there or visiting a park

    Hello, Carolyn,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  My husband and I are firm believers that dining at Walt Disney World is so wonderful that it is an attraction in and of itself.  Once we have our resort reservations made, our next step is always planning out where we will be dining.  We have favorites we always try to include like Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria at EPCOT for its incredibly delicious pizza while also including something new like Roundup Rodeo BBQ opening later this month at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

You are welcome to make dining reservations at any of the Disney resorts; you do not have to be a guest staying there or visiting a theme park. If you'd like to make a dining reservation at any of the theme parks, you will need valid theme park admission as well as a theme park reservation.

When you are ready to make dining reservations, they can be done 60 days in advance. If you are a Disney resort guest, you can make reservations for the entire length of stay (up to 10 days) when you are 60 days away from your arrival date. They can be made online or through the My Disney Experience Mobile app when the window opens up around 5:45 AM EST. Some restaurants are popular, so if you can include some flexibility you may be more successful.  We often start our reservations by our highest priority rather than chronologically.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
