We have an 8:40 dining reservation at Be Our Guest on a day that MK opens at 9:00 AM. We are staying at the Polynesian and I am claustrophobic, so I am trying to avoid the monorail. Will the water taxis or ferry be running early enough for us?

Mahalo Stacey!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of my favorite ways to start an Endlessly Magical day at a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park is by enjoying breakfast inside the Theme Parks with early Advanced Dining Reservations.

Unfortunately, when you book Advanced Dining Reservations before the Theme Parks officially open, you have to take into consideration how you will be arriving.  Complimentary Resort Transportation (including water taxis and boats) begins 45 minutes prior to Theme Park opening, which should give you an ample amount of time to arrive in time for your Advanced Dining Reservations.

With the new Let the Magic Begin Welcome Show at Magic Kingdom, Main Street, U.S.A. is open to Guests roughly 25-45 minutes prior to Theme Park opening for shopping, snacking and early Disney PhotoPass Pictures in front of Cinderella Castle. With many venues available before opening, the ferry boat from the Ticket and Transportation Center should be ferrying Guests to the Magic Kingdom around the same time.

Be sure to check with Guest Services upon your arrival for all of the alternative options available to you and any changes to scheduled transportation for getting to the Magic Kingdom in time for your Be Our Guest Breakfast Advanced Dining Reservations.

    Bon Appétit!
