We have a dining reservation at Fort Wilderness Lodge. What would be the quickest way to get there on Disney Transportation from the All Star Resorts or Pop Century Resort?

    Hello, Joann,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  I want to first check that you are headed to the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for dinner. If it happens to be that you are going to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the steps will be almost the same.  Whichever resort you are headed to, they both offer up fantastic dinners and a sense that you've left Florida for the beauty of the West.

To get from either the All-Star Resorts or Disney's Pop Century Resort to either of the above resorts, you will want to use Disney transportation to go to a theme park and transfer to a bus that is going to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (or Disney's Wilderness Lodge).

If you are leaving from the All-Star Resorts, here are the steps:

    1. From the All-Star Resorts, I'd take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios OR EPCOT.
    2. Once there, transfer to a bus that is going to the resort you plan to visit. You will want to allow for at least 90 minutes (at the minimum) of travel time.

If you are leaving Disney's Pop Century Resort, here are the steps:

    1. From Disney's Pop Century Resort, take the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
    2. Once there, transfer to a bus that is going to the resort you plan to visit. You will want to allow for at least 90 minutes (at the minimum) of travel time.

There is another option, too, that may be a bit more fun and a lot more scenic:

    1. From the All-Star Resorts or Disney's Pop Century Resort, take a bus to the Magic Kingdom.
    2. Once there, transfer to a water taxi that is going to Disney's Wilderness Lodge or Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The water taxis are located right outside the Magic Kingdom and are marked with signs. It is a lovely boat ride to both resorts and a nice way to see Bay Lake. Also, the boat at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort drops you off very close to where the restaurants are located.
I also want to share with you the option of using a Minnie Van™ to go directly from a resort to dinner, which will not take as much time. While this is part of Disney transportation, there will be a charge for this service.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if you have any further questions.
