Hi there, Arika, and welcome to planDisney!
First things first, you can never go wrong with having an advance dining reservation at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. From meeting magical characters at
1900 Park Fare to eating a flavorful, Florida-inspired meal at
Narcoosee’s, I have always had a memorable experience at this Disney Monorail loop Resort hotel.
I totally understand wanting to take your time exploring the sights and sounds of the Christmas season at the
Grand Floridian. The larger-than-life Christmas tree set against the backdrop of a one-of-a-kind, full-scale gingerbread house is a must-see for the holidays. I love the miniature, Disney-character-themed trees scattered around the gingerbread house this year. The entire set-up is swoon-worthy.
Now, let’s talk about the time limit in which you could have when visiting the Grand Floridian. Depending on the parking lot capacity (and the discretion of the parking attendant), you will be able to park at the Resort hotel with an advance dining reservation. This will be at no charge. However, there’s a chance that you could be given a time limit of how long you can park on-site. Once, I received a sign that stated “3-hour limit” that I was told to put in my car’s windshield. Also, I would get there well in advance of your reservation because you may have to walk from the overflow parking for the Grand Floridian.
I’m sending pixie dust your way, Arika! Please don’t hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney if you have additional Disney vacation planning questions. I am more than happy to share my tips and tricks with you.
Magic always,
LeAndra
