The pools are an exclusive amenity for overnight
Disney resort hotel guests, so you won’t be able to use the pool as a guest with a dining reservation. However, since you have the Water Park and Sports Option on your
Annual Pass, this is the practically perfect time to head to
Typhoon Lagoon or
Blizzard Beach. Both water parks are open this summer, and there are
lots of special happenings going on for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, including character experiences, games, and dance parties!
Another fun water-based activity that you can do at the
Contemporary Resort is to
rent a pontoon boat. My friends and I did this a couple of years ago and had a blast exploring the waterways around Magic Kingdom. You can even bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks on board, and connect your phone to the Bluetooth speakers to play music. It would be a great way to relax on the water after your meal!
One more thing I wanted to mention before I go. Don’t forget to take advantage of the special perks happening right now for
V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days. I’m most excited for the Passholder Lounge in EPCOT (perfect for cooling off!) and the 40% discount at select restaurants Monday through Thursday. That’s an incredible savings, and I already have my reservation booked to dine with Chip ’n’ Dale at
