I have a 810am dining reservation at Cinderella’s castle on June 21st. Will the boats be running so we can get to the park from the campground?

Hello there, Rachael, and welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

Stepping foot inside Cinderella's Royal Table is like stepping into a fairytale. Every time I visit, I feel like the belle of my own ball! There's really nothing like dining inside Walt Disney World's iconic castle. From the stunning stained glass windows to the grand, vaulted ceilings, you'll feel like royalty as you rub elbows with the Disney Princesses themselves!

Rachael, Cinderella's Royal Table is one of my family's favorite Disney World experiences, and we especially love to stop by for a regal breakfast feast. It's great that your reservation is before Magic Kingdom officially opens - this will give you plenty of time to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry after your meal.

Now, I know how important it is to be on time for this hard-to-get Advance Dining Reservation, so let's talk about early morning park transportation. While I'd love to arrive by a magical, pumpkin-shaped carriage, a Disney boat clocks in at a pretty close second! And fortunately, boats begin running from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort well before the parks open.

In my experience, the first boats cast off about an hour before the listed Early Entry time. According to the Park Hours page, Early Entry will begin at 8:30 AM on your arrival date, so you should be able to board a boat around 7:30 AM that morning. The boat ride itself only takes about 10-15 minutes, so you should arrive at Magic Kingdom just in time for your reservation! Be sure to arrive at the boat dock bright and early, so you'll be at the front of the line.

Rachael, June can definitely bring the heat in Disney World, so be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks during your visit. There are also lots of great ways to stay cool, thanks to Cool KIDS' Summer! In case you missed it, this means free water park admission on check-in day (for Disney resort guests), and tons of air-conditioned fun with GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT and Jessie's Roundup: A Rip-Roarin' Revue! over at Magic Kingdom.

I hope this is helpful, Rachael! From one New Jerseyan to another, I hope your Disney World vacation is full of magic and memories. If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits,

    Allison
