Hi Nicole! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh Boy! In just a few short days, you will arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort during
The World's Most Magical Celebration! Make sure to seek out the golden
Fab 50 Character Collection statues for unique and fun photo opportunities. My favorite is Donald Duck in front of
Cinderella Castle at
Magic Kingdom Park.
What a fun and special way to start your day enjoying
Chef Mickey's at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. As you drive up to the security gate, I recommend having your dining reservation available on your
My Disney Experience Mobile App to show the guard. In my experience, it speeds up the check-in process. You will be allowed to park at the resort for three hours. This will allow you time to dine, visit the property and take pictures. If your time runs a bit over, I would not be overly concerned. However, I do not recommend you leave your vehicle there for the duration of your park stay, you may be subject to towing. To avoid park charges, it may be cheaper for you to utilize ride-sharing services. I use these often to navigate my visits. The driver is allowed to drop me off at the resort's main entrance or at designated park drop-off/pick-up points.
Stay into the evening at Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy the new nighttime spectacular
Disney Enchantment. Projections light up Cinderella Castle to Main Street U.S.A. while fireworks shimmer high in the sky!
See You Real Soon,
Cindy
