We have a dining reservation for character breakfast for 7:50 am at 'Ohana (Polynesian) and we are staying at Pop. Is this too early for Disney transportation? I heard we take bus to MK and then Monorail to 'Ohana??

    Hi Becky:

Disney World provides various methods of complimentary transportation throughout Walt Disney World to its Resort Guests, such as buses, monorails, and boats. However, there is no direct Resort-to-Resort transportation, so you will have to transfer to get to the Polynesian for breakfast.  Buses start running early to the Magic Kingdom for guests who have early morning reservations at restaurants inside the Magic Kingdom or at close by Resorts. These buses are unofficially referred to as "breakfast buses." These early-morning breakfast buses begin to run from Resorts as early as 6:30 or 6:45.

The bus will take you to the Magic Kingdom, and you can transfer to the monorail to the Polynesian. Inform the bus driver that you have reservations at the Polynesian. During early morning bus routes, and depending on the Extra Magic Hours schedule at Magic Kingdom, there is a tiny possibility (though admittedly unlikely one) that the bus driver may be able to drop you directly at the Polynesian for your reservation.

Of course, if you are anything like me and want a few extra minutes of sleep, peace of mind, and to guarantee that you will be at the restaurant on time, you can take a taxi. Taxis are generally waiting outside Resorts for passengers, but your Resort concierge can help you arrange one.
