Would any of the dining plans work for a party of 1? I am going to WDW alone in September and the dining plans sounds great but they seam to be set up for groups of 2 people and greater.

    Hi Frank!

I travel to Walt Disney World solo at least once a year.  I love it! You are most certainly able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan for yourself!  All of the Disney Dining Plans are per person, so it doesn't matter if you're a party of one or ten.

I do not tend to purchase the dining plan on my solo vacations because I like to have more freedom of choice on my trips and not have to worry about making sure I'm using all of my credits.  If you have places in mind you definitely want to eat at and want to make a plan then the Dining Plan is perfect for your solo trip!

My favorite place to eat solo is the 50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Right off of the main dining room is the Tune-In Lounge with a full bar.  You can order from the full menu here and the bartenders are always good for some fun conversation.  I love the kitschy vibe of the lounge and make sure to visit it on each of my solo trips.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
