Since the dining plans are starting back up after January 9th. Is there a discount for dvc members for the dining plans?

Hi there, Lisa-thanks for stopping by the Disney Vacation Club corner of plan Disney! It is always a great day when I get to chat with another Member, and I'm happy to answer your question today.

The return of the Disney Dining Plan is a cause for celebration for Disney foodies! The two plans offered after the January 9 date that you correctly noted are:

    • the Disney Dining Plan, which includes one Table-Service meal, one Quick-Service meal, and one snack or nonalcoholic beverage for each member of your traveling party ages 3 and up per night of your stay.
    • the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, featuring two Quick-Service meals and one snack or nonalcoholic beverage per person per night.

Both plans include a 16-ounce refillable resort mug, which can be refilled at any self-service beverage station in Walt Disney World resort hotels with soda, coffee, or tea. These also make great souvenirs!

Lisa, there is currently not a discount offered on dining plans specifically for Disney Vacation Club members. Depending on your family's preferences for how you spend your Disney days, you may find that the Member dining discounts honored at many restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort are a better option for your family.

If you're staying in a Disney Vacation Club 1, 2, or 3-Bedroom Villa, you'll have access to a full kitchen with a cooktop and stove, a full-size fridge, a microwave, and basic kitchen supplies so you can enjoy relaxed family meals. The Deluxe Studios feature a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, small fridge, and--to my husband's relief--a coffee maker. On many trips we've prepared a quick breakfast in our Studio at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (our home resort!) before heading out to conquer the theme parks.

Don't forget to check the Member Benefits page as your vacation approaches for the most up-to-date information about Member discounts for dining, shopping, special events, and more!

Wishing you and your 'Ohana the most magical vacation, Lisa! Please visit us again at planDisney if we can answer any other questions for you.
