Where are the dining plans? I am not seeing them on the website on the trip builder. Also, we are thinking of making a trip in June of 2022. Is that enough time to book reservations and such? First timer here.

    Howdy Michael!

Welcome to planDisney!  I am super excited and honored to help you plan your first visit to Walt Disney World!  WOW!  You are going to “Make Dreams Come True” on your once-in-a-lifetime vacation!  Oh, boy!  Let’s get started!

Since you have decided the dates of your unforgettable vacation, now it’s time to pick which one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels works best for your family!  After deciding on a resort hotel, you will need to determine how many theme park days you will need.  I recommend keeping an eye on the Walt Disney World website.  You will find a “Special Offers” option on the home page.  Even if you book your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package and another offer comes available that works better for your party, Hakuna Matata, No Worries!  A Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort can easily modify your vacation package.  At this time, all Disney Dining Plans have been placed on pause, and we do not have a date as to when this will resume.  If it resumes before your vacation, then you can call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak with a Cast Member to have the Disney Dining Plan added!  With your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort over a year away, you will have plenty of time to make any modifications needed.

Memory maker is a must for your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!  As you experience certain attractions, capture photos with Disney PhotoPass Photographers, and so much more, all these memories will show up on your My Disney Experience through the purchase of Memory Maker.  I love Memory Maker because it allows you to capture an unlimited amount of photos at one great price, and you can bring all of those pictures home with you to cherish for a lifetime!

You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during their grandest celebration!  “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” will be an 18-month event that you will not want to miss!  This monumental mark on Walt Disney World history will be a celebration like no other!  To learn about all the festivities as they are announced, go to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”  With the 50 year celebration and everything scheduled to re-open new attractions, and new dining experiences, check the Disney Parks Blog for all updates.

Your unforgettable trip to Neverland will be here before you know it, Michael!  If you have any questions as you continue to plan your very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, please come back to planDisney!  We are thrilled and honored to help make your first visit full of “Magic Around Every Corner!”  When you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort next June, make sure to tell a Cast Member at Guest Services so that they can give everyone in your party your “First Visit” button!  As you wear your button throughout your vacation, everyone can celebrate your first visit with you!

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Tamela
