When will dining plans be available?

    Hi, Rachael. Welcome to planDisney!

Everybody seems to love the Disney Dining Plan, Rachael. I know my family and I enjoyed using the plan on several of our past Walt Disney World vacations. It was really nice to have every aspect of a vacation paid for ahead of time. It truly allowed for all of us to be in the moment.

Here at planDisney, Rachael, we are a group of people that love sharing about visiting Disney destinations. However, we are just Guests ourselves and because of that, we aren't privy to the behind-the-scenes information like when the Disney Dining Plan might return. I've been keeping an eye out over on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcement that is made. That's going to be where we find out all of the information.

If the Disney Dining Plan does come back before your vacation in the fall, I am certain you'll be able to add it on to your existing vacation package. If it's like it was before, you'll be able to add it on up to 48 hours prior to your check-in day.

If you want to budget for food for your vacation, I suggest picking up Disney Gift Cards between now and your trip. I like to add one to my grocery cart occasionally. It never adds a lot to my bill but I am always amazed at how quickly they can add up.

I have my fingers crossed that the Disney Dining Plan will return sooner rather than later, Rachael. If you have any other questions while you finalize up your plans, please feel free to stop back by and ask me

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
