Hey there, Lenny, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question about my very favorite topic:
food!Like our pal Winnie the Pooh, I've always had a voracious appetite for good food. Even more so when I'm in Walt Disney World! Maybe it's just the miles (and miles!) I walk when I'm there, but I can't ever get enough of those unique, immersive restaurants, or their fabulous fare!
Like you, my family will be using the
Disney Dining Plan on our upcoming trip, and I'm so excited for the peace of mind it will bring to our vacation. I love knowing that I'm free to indulge that rumbly in my tumbly, any time I like! While the Disney Dining Plan includes one table service credit per person, per day of your stay, I know what it's like to want more of that delicious Disney magic. Fortunately, I'm happy to report that
you are free to make as many table service reservations as you like! If you run out of dining plan credits, you'll just pay out of pocket for your meal.
Lenny, you may already know that Advance Dining Reservations are highly recommended in Disney World. If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can make your reservations 60 days before check-in for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 nights). If you're staying off-site, you can make those reservations 60 days before your intended visit. Based on your arrival date, you should be able to make your reservations right now, or at least
very soon. Be sure to snag your spot as soon as possible for the best availability!
Bonus Tip: If you are staying at a Disney World resort and want to make a reservation for a popular Disney World restaurant (like the
Magic Kingdom Park's new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge,
The Beak and Barrel), try scheduling your reservation on the tail end of your stay. This will give you the best chance at snagging the time that's most convenient for you!
Lenny, I hope this information is helpful and that you savor every bite (and every magical moment!) of your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other planning questions, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney!
Until next time,
Allison
