Hi! Can you get the dining plan if you’re not staying in a Disney resort?

    Bonjour Geneviève,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Many people love the Disney Dining Plan due to the convenience of having all of their meals largely “prepaid” even before you they start their vacation. This convenience, however, is only available to Guests who have purchased a Disney Resort Hotel Package, which means that they are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. This means that, if you want to add a Disney Dining Plan to your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you’re going to need to stay “on property” in a Disney resort.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect vacation for your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Meet the Panelist: Lynne, Quebec

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
