    Is the dining plan worth the money for a week. We have several special dinners and character meals planned already.

    Hi James!

    Unfortunately, I can't answer your question.  It really depends on how your family likes to dine, what each member would typically order, etc.  I can tell you that some guests save a lot of money, some save a little, and some actually spend more by being on a dining plan.  You can get more information on the various Disney Dining Plans here.

    I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  They do a great job keeping their website up to date with the latest menus from the various Walt Disney World restaurants.  You can look at the menus and decide what your family would typically order.  Then you can do the math and decide if being on a Disney Dining Plan is best for your situation.
