is the dining plan worth the money? we are family of four visiting march 2013

    Hi, Brandi!

I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  I like having my meals paid for ahead of time, and if you plan ahead making dining reservations and use all your credits, it can be a real savings.  One character meal alone almost pays for a day of your dining plan!   Add onto that a quick service meal and a snack each day PLUS a refillable beverage mug to use at your resort, it is quite a deal!

There are several plans to choose from, but my favorite is the base Disney Dining Plan which allows for 1 table service credit, 1 quick service credit, and 1 snack for each night of your stay for each guest in your party age 3 and older.   (Plus that great mug!)

If you do add on the dining plan, make sure to make dining reservations.  You will want to make sure to use up all your dining credits before heading home.   Reservations can be made online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Keep checking HERE for any offers during your stay to see if you can save a few dollars when booking!  If you decide to book the dining plan and need restaurant suggestions, let us know!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
