Is the Dining Plan worth it when my kids are 10 and 12 or should be budget each meal separately? My son is 10 and likes to eat but he is picky about the foods. my daughter is 12 and she does not eat very much. Are paying for adult meals worth it?

    Hi Jennifer!

It looks like your in that transition period with your kiddos.  In this case, I'd say that the Disney Dining Plan might not offer the best value because of the price difference between the kids and adult meals.

Many times our 2 youngest still split kid's meals and our oldest gets his own meal.  Even other times, my husband and I might split an adult meal if we want a lighter lunch, so I completely understand where you're coming from!

I'd definitely check out some of the Walt Disney World restaurant menus that are available and see what your average cost per meal would be.  If you plan on doing a ton of buffets, you'll need to look as that as well, as they'll both be charged as adults because of their age.  Many factors to consider, for sure!

    Have a magical vacation!
