    Is the dining plan truly a money saver? What if your family doesn't eat 3 square meals a day, do you feel like it is worth the expense? buy the plan for only certain members in your party, if the others may be separated from us at those times due to ages?

    Hi, Robyn!

    If your family enjoys one table service meal plus one quick service meal each day, then the Disney Dining Plan is worth it.  I especially like it when we have buffets such as Chef Mickey's planned.  While I do not always want to pay $40 or more per person for a buffet, I feel much more comfortable doing it when I can simply use a dining credit to pay for it!  

    Another reason I like the Disney Dining Plan is that dessert is included with your lunch or dinner.  Normally, I will not splurge (with the money or calories) on a dessert, but with it being included, I go for it! And boy am I a sucker for chocolate cake or cookies and cream ice cream!

    Do not worry if your family does not dine together.  The dining credits are on each guest's Key to the World card so everyone can eat when/where they please.  Your remaining credits will show up at the bottom of your receipt after each meal.  Also, credits can be used however you wish.  If you just do 2 quick service meals one day, you might want to do a Signature Dining location or Dinner show the next day that uses two table service credits.  Flexible as can be!

    Please note that everyone staying in your room on your reservation must have the same Dining Plan, so if one gets, everyone must participate.  If you are two families on two reservations, each family can do their own thing.
