We will have the dining plan on our trip to Disney. If we wish to use one of the meals for a character meal the day we leave (check out), until what time do we have to use it? Do we need to use it before checking out, before noon (after we check out)?

    Hello Thomas.

You're going to love the convenience, savings and flexibility offered by the Disney Dining Plan! I'd never visit without it. It's fantastic!

Your credits under the plan become available to you beginning the moment you've checked in at the resort and receive your Key To The World Cards, until midnight of the day you've checked out. How you choose to use the credits between arrival and departure is entirely up to you.

Should you have plans for your final day of vacation at Walt Disney World, just be sure to check your bags in with Bell Services on the morning of Check Out. You'll then have the day to enjoy the park(s), dining, shopping and Disney Transportation as you wish.

Unused credits under the plan will expire at midnight on the day of your check out, if you haven't used them. In other words, if you're checking out on a Wednesday morning, your Disney Dining Plan credits are still in effect until midnight on Wednesday evening.

I hope this information is helpful to you Thomas. If you have additional questions about your planning, please feel free to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
