    Hi, On the Dining Plan, at a Table Service restaurant, can I order a soda with my entree, then switch to coffee with my dessert or will I be charged for that? Thanks!

    Hi Margaret,

    As stated in the 2016 Disney Dining Plan brochure, each meal from a Table-Service dining location includes one (1) single-serving:-

    For Breakfast/Brunch
    • Entrée
    • Non-Alcoholic Beverage
    - or -
    • One (1) Full Buffet** or  Family-Style Meal

    For Lunch/Dinner
    • Entrée
    • Dessert†
    • Non-Alcoholic Beverage
    - or -
    • One (1) Full Buffet** or Family-Style Meal

    **If available, buffet excludes Specialty Beverages that are sold separately.
    †Ask your server about potential substitutions, but substitutions not guaranteed.

    As only one (1) non-alcoholic beverage is included in each meal at Table-Service dining locations, I am pretty sure that you would be charged for a coffee with your dessert after having already ordered a soda with your entree. 

    There is a possibility that you could order a coffee in lieu of a dessert (for Lunch/Dinner) but you would need to ask your server if this is possible as substitutions are not guaranteed.
