When on the dining plan at a table service location and if you request to have a different entree than what is on the menu to accommodate a dietary restriction such as a vegetarian meal, will they use the dining plan entitlements to pay for the meal?

    Hi Janine!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

If you have Special Dietary requests or allergies notated on your Advance Dining Reservation, the Chef will visit with you at your table to discuss menu options that will accommodate your needs or to come up with a suitable meal he or she is able to prepare for you.

You'll enjoy a fabulous meal along with the rest of your dining party, and your Disney Dining Plan will be used to pay for the meal just the same as if you were ordering an item already on the menu and unmodified.

Vegetarian options are usually already listed on the menu, however you are more than welcome to discuss with your server or the chef to ensure that your exact needs will be met. I've dined with vegetarians, vegans and guests with severe allergies and each and every time we all left completely satisfied with the meals received and the care taken to ensure safety and satisfaction! You just can't beat Disney's attention to their Guests' needs.

If you have additional questions about your upcoming trip, please feel free to write me back. I'd love to hear from you again! Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Janine!
