?? About Dining Plan Snacks. My friend is at WDW now and her tra agt told her they can use their unused snack credits from the DDP to buy snacks at the Airport b/4 their flight leaves to go home. I am coming in Dec and thought it had to be done in WDW

    Hi Stacy,

I do not recommend that you plan to redeem your remaining snack credits at the airport gift shop.  That's just too risky for me.  Even if the gift shop at Orlando International Airport has honored Disney Dining Plan snack credits at some point in the past, there is no guarantee that they will do so in December.  I suggest you head to your resort gift shop or any of the parks before you depart to stock up on treats that will travel well.  Personally, I love to pick up Mickey-shaped rice krispie treats. If you pack them where they will not be crushed, they'll travel quite nicely.  Remember not to purchase beverages unless you intend to drink them before you go through the security line.  Otherwise, you'll have to discard them.

Have fun in December and let us know if you need any additional advice about getting the most out of your Disney Dining Plan credits.

    Best wishes,
