I have the dining plan for or Sept. WDW trip and I just received my customized magic bands,I was wondering how the dining plan will work if we don't have cards we just have the bands.

    Hi Chesney,

You must be so excited for your upcoming Disney trip. Getting your Magic Bands in the mail is certainly a great way to start off what will surely be a magical vacation!

Magic Bands work very much like your old Key to the World card. Your dining information should be included in your band. Although I haven't seen that particular use in action, I'm confident that there is a system in place to make your dining experience amazing.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
