On the dining plan, if i make a reservation at Califonia Grill for dinner can we just get desserts (only) and 1) still see the fireworks 2) can i use a snack credit from the dining plan?

    Hello Cindy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

If you make a reservation to eat at the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you can definitely just order desserts, if you choose to do so. You’ll absolutely still be able to benefit from the observation deck to watch Magic Kingdom Park’s nightly fireworks show. However, your dessert will still “cost” you two table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. If you really only want to eat dinner for dessert while at the California Grill (which sounds delicious to me!), I would recommend paying out of pocket for your sweet treats.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation and please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
