Is a dining plan required in order to book meal reservations?

    Hi Angela,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Dining reservations are the best way to ensure that you will be able to enjoy some of the fantastic table service dining experiences available at Walt Disney World Resort. You do not need to be using a Disney dining plan to make reservations at a restaurant located at Walt Disney World Resort, including restaurants in Walt Disney World Resort hotels and theme parks and Disney Springs. All Guests are welcome to begin making reservations 180 days in advance. If you have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, you can make reservations for your entire trip 180 days in advance of your check-in date. Availability is limited, particularly at the most popular restaurants, so I recommend you make your reservations early so you can be sure to get the restaurants and dining times you want.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to two little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
