I have the dining plan with 7 quick service and 7 table service per the vacation. The way my reservations are going I am using 8 table service and only 4 quick service. Is there any way to convert 2 quick service meals into 1 table service? Thanks!

Hello Laura!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, we purchase it each trip we take to Walt Disney World.

The Disney Dining Plan credits are pretty straight forward as to what they apply for.  You wont be able to combine Quick Service Credits to equal a Table Service Credit.  If you really want that 8th sit down meal, you will need to pay for it out of pocket.  We typically will use 1 Snack Credit, 1 Quick Service Credit and 1 Table Service Credit per person per day.  We, for the most part, like to use the Quick Service Credits for lunch and the Table Service Credit for a nice sit down dinner with the snack somewhere in between.  For breakfast, we may do 1 or 2 character meals but we typically will bring something to have in the room.  Using credits this way works out really well because it is spread out over the course of the trip and we get the most value for our money.

If you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan, I'd love for you to ask me.  Have a great day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
