Hiya, Cheryl! Welcome back to planDisney!
There are a lot of things I love about Walt Disney World (like…a lot of things), but two items near the top of the list would have to be the food at EPCOT and the Disney Dining Plan. So thanks for serving up this delicious question!
I double-checked the
Disney Dining Plan page to confirm, and there is no designation between adult and child dining credits. There are only snack credits, Quick Service credits, and Table Service credits. The number of credits your party receives is based on how many nights you’re staying at Walt Disney World, how many people are in your party, and the type of dining plan you purchase.
The dining plan info specifies that children ages 3–9 must order from the children’s menu if one is available. So in the event that you choose a dining location with no children’s menu, your kiddo can order from the regular menu with no problem. It sounds like some celebratory fish and chips are in order!
It looks like you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World and EPCOT during the
International Food & Wine Festival based on the dates you’ve provided. In a theme park known for its good food, this is an especially delicious time to visit. There are special kiosks with global-inspired foods, fun activities like Emile’s Fromage Montage, and the always popular Eat to the Beat Concert Series. More details will be released closer to the event, so keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates.
Cheryl, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning and that you have a fantastic trip to EPCOT. Pop right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
